Actor Vijay Launches Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam: A New Political Symbol in Tamil

CHENNAI: Actor-politician Vijay on Thursday officially unveiled the flag and symbol of his party Tamilaga Vetri Kalagam (TVK) in Chennai as the star actor wants to contest the state elections in 2026.

In a press statement issued in Tamil on Wednesday, the actor said, "Every day is a new direction and a new force in history, then it is a great blessing. 22nd August 2024 is the day given to us by God and nature. It is the day to introduce the flag, the flagship of our Tamil Nadu Victory Club."
